CompanyAbout VisokioVisokio are the developers of Omniscope and DataPlayers, innovative data integration, visualisation, analysis and publishing tools that break new ground in power and accessibility. Visokio were pioneers in the development of rich Internet applications like Flash DataPlayers, and general-purpose, scalable hybrid desktop/web clients like Omniscope. Visokio was founded in 2002 as "Iokio" to develop stand-alone data visualisation software for use by non-programmers. Privately-funded and supported by a core group of early clients, Omniscope 1.0 was launched in January 2005, followed by FeatureFinder 1.0 in June 2005. In June 2006 the name "Visokio" was adopted, coinciding with the release of Omniscope 2.0 and FeatureFinder 1.2. In July 2007, we launched a major upgrade, Omniscope 2.2, adding formula columns, reports, web views and many other powerful features. We also launched FeatureFinder Web, a perpetually-licensed single-domain version of FeatureFinder intended for web designers/developers and their clients. This award-winning technology for producing interactive product selectors, managerial reporting 'dashboards' and many other uses was subsequently integrated into Omniscope. Omniscope 2.3 was released in April, 2008 adding another round of powerful new features, such as a resource-rich, task- oriented welcome screen, live data refresh over networks or the open web, printing to common document formats such as PowerPoint and Acrobat, multiple resolution modes for all screen sizes, and brushing- i.e. fading of unselected records in most views. Omniscope 2.4 was released in November, 2008, offering full integration of Omniscope data management with exportable Flash DataPlayer creation from a single file and application. Aggregation subsets, Named Queries and the Venn View were added, together with improved 64-bit support. Omniscope Online, the Java Web Start 'zero-footprint' temporary-install publishing option for those lacking access to the free Viewer was also added. We are always looking for technical and distribution partners. We encourage application developers and integrators to bundle and distribute Omniscope with their solutions, whether client-premise installed or hosted ASP/SaaS services.
